<item><title>Legal Officer - Head Office</title><link>http://www.oscebih.org/administration/default.asp?d=8&amp;id=615</link><description>(Grade: NP1 (BAM 2879.42))      Legal Officer assists and supports the Department of Security Co-operation in all legal affairs related to Security Sector Reform, Parliamentary Oversight and Arms Control.

Under the supervision of the General Service Officer, the incumbent receives and distributes telephone calls and is responsible for overall access control including: requesting identification and authorisation for entry from unknown persons and, if necessary, preventing entry after referral to a higher level authority, calling hosts for escorts and receiving VIP guests in accordance with appropriate Mission procedures. 
As the first point of contact in the Mission’s Office, the incumbent is required to be polite, timely and well informed at all times. This includes assisting in all aspects of programme implementation, including organising meetings, training and other activities necessary to achieve the programme’s objectives.
